AI Daily Pulse: Week of 10/13/25

Analysis for the Age of Autonomous Intelligence

As usual with the current news, so many things are continuing to change week over week it can be difficult to keep up with. The joke of a week now being a year in the last decade seems to be true!

Here are a few of the top things I found around AI this week:

eBay Gives 10,000 Sellers Access to ChatGPT Enterprise

So eBay made a huge move. They're giving ChatGPT Enterprise access to 10,000 of their sellers. Sellers can now use it to draft listings, respond to buyers, analyze their performance metrics, and basically streamline their entire operation. This is the kind of practical AI implementation an older company has been waiting for, modernizing from the dot com bubble to the (potential) current AI bubble…

Jeff Bezos Calls Out the AI Investment Bubble

Bezos just dropped some truth bombs at Italian Tech Week, and I have been thinking this for a couple weeks now. He's comparing the current AI investment surge to the internet dot com bubble, as the numbers are wild but seemingly true.

Meta announced hundreds of billions in AI infrastructure spending back in July, and combined capital expenditure across major tech firms is up 46% from last year's $223 billion. When Bezos starts talking bubbles, people listen.

Alibaba and Nvidia Team Up for Humanoid Robots

This is fascinating. Alibaba just announced what they're calling a "milestone collaboration" with Nvidia focused on AI tech for humanoid robots. The Chinese tech giant says this partnership will accelerate their robot development significantly. We're watching two tech powerhouses combine forces to potentially change robotics forever.

The UK and US Strike a £150 Billion Tech Deal

Trump's administration just announced a massive £150 billion technology prosperity deal between the US and UK. This partnership is focused on advancing AI development between the two nations. The scale of this agreement shows just how seriously governments are taking the AI race.

Hollywood Gets Spooked by AI ‘Actress’ Creation "Tilly Norwood"

Here's some drama from Tinseltown. There's an AI creation called "Tilly Norwood" that's apparently causing quite a stir in Hollywood. The entertainment industry is clearly still figuring out how to handle AI generated content, and this situation is bringing all those tensions to the surface.

Personally it is very uncanny valley and I am not a fan. The backlash has begun, and even more industries are worried this could spell doom for their industry. I hear around Hollywood it currently resembles a ghost town despite not having been back in a few years, and I believe it.

Stay ahead of the curve,

Clayton
